The first time I saw Lucius, they were playing a SXSW Breakfast at the Moody Theatre. They did a valiant job despite the fact that everyone pretty much just wanted to scarf down breakfast tacos and nurse their hangovers.
Since then, I have seen them multiple times and each time they have put on exceptional shows to the point now that I feel like I don’t want to miss them whenever they roll thru town.
The band has a new album out in March and this is one of the first single off the record. If the album is even anywhere close to their exceptional debut record, I’ll be a very happy man**.
Did I mention the band is in Austin? Well they will be at SXSW. They’ll also play in a city near you, unless you live in the middle of nowhere. Tough nuts if that’s you.

**I'm generally happy and I guess realistically the record's quality doesn't really impact my emotional state but whatever, it sounds more dramatic.
