SXSW Song of the Day: Twin Shadow – As Soon As You Can

Twin Shadow were among the first acts I saw at my very first SXSW, way back in 2011. Back then the band were in Austin promoting their debut album Forget and put on a memorable show that made a fan out of me. Now, all these years later, George Lewis Jr. will be heading back to Austin to play a few shows in support of the new Twin Shadow album, GEORGIE, which just so happens to drop during SXSW 2025 – on March 14th, to be precise.

“As Soon As You Can,” the lead single off the album, is a cool, mellow, moody number. Check it out.
