Since it’s beginnings back in 2000, Wavelength has served as a showcase for some of the best and most exciting music being made both locally and out of town and this weekend they’re presenting the latest edition of their Wavelength Music Festival with several shows and events. Here are a few of the highlights:

Foxtrott
The Montreal based electro act has been making a name for itself as of late with the catchy, melodic sounds off of debut album A Taller Us. Foxtrott will be playing the Friday night show at The Garrison that also features Calvin Love, Keita Juma, Programm, and Organ Mood.

Steven Lambke
The Constantines singer/guitarist plays a matinee all ages show at Markham House with Foxes In Fiction, Merganzer, and an acoustic set from New Brunswick’s Partner, who will also be playing a full electric set later that night on a bill with Beliefs, Soupcans, and Duchess Says.

Pantayo
A show from a Filipina kulintang gong ensemble sounds like a fun time and a perfect example of Wavelength’s boundaryless approach to genre. Pantayo plays Sunday night at The Garrison alongside Clairmont The Second, Prince Innocence, She Devils, and Thus Owls.
