Song of the Day: Primal Scream – It’s Alright, It’s Okay

Primal Scream have always joked that their albums are always dependent on what drugs they are on at the time (this is a band that released a song called Rocks, afterall). Judging by their lead single off their new album MoreLight (out June 18), it would appears that they are back on the acid. It’s Alright, It’s Okay, the first track from the rockers in five years will instantly bring you back to the joy filled days of Screamadelica. While Primal Scream has always seem like a band that moves forward and rarely looks back, it’s a welcome visit back to the good ole days. Everything about this song screams Screamdelica – the drums, the piano, the soul singers and the general laid back everyone’s peaceful, let’s party vibe. Classic Primal Scream. Check it out.
